Peter L. Freeman’s practice involves a wide range of areas including non-profit organization, zoning, land development, environmental and wetlands permitting, real estate acquisition and financing, construction law, administrative law, commercial transactions, and litigation, with a special emphasis on affordable housing development, including Chapter 40B and Chapter 40R. He frequently represents clients in front of municipal zoning boards and the Housing Appeals Committee. He has been involved in projects creating more than 2,000 units of low and moderate income housing. He is also a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences on land use matters and affordable housing, is a member of the Construction Industry Panel of Neutrals of the American Arbitration Association, and is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Boston University School of Law.
